We now have our fisrt "baby appointment" set. We go in on the 27th of April. Pray for guidance as we have never met any of these midwives or drs. this is not only to check up on baby but for us to find out who we are going to have for our delivery. We have only lived in NC for 1 yr, so have no experience with anyone hear yet. I have had some great suggestions from the lovely ladies at our church, so we will be checking those out to.
I'M SOOOO HAPPY! aa;dkljadflkj;af;ldlfjkasdl;fjka; |

I just want to say Thanks to God and to all of you who are praying for me. It is such an encouragement just to know someone is out there who understands and cares! ( besides my family of course~ sometimes you tend to feel like they "have to" !)
I am going to my Hematologist on Mon. to get a nother hemoglobin count done, I've been feeling really tired lately again, so we need to check and see what's going on there.
I will kepp youall posted about me so you know what to pray for and when to start thanking God for his answers! |

O.K. I guess I ought to start with some background info for you all.
About 1 1/2 - 2 yrs ago, I got really sick, at first we thought it was all just a mental hurdle I needed to get over, I was REALLY tired all the time. This was not just ftigue, but I was literally unable to keep my eyes open and lay on the couch all day, then slept all night. Not a good thing with two kids under the age of 3!
Well, it was diagnosed originally as Hemolitic anemia ( my Hemoglobin Levels were fatally low - 4.3) so I got a transfusion and went on steroids. we went through this cycle several times ( each transfusion put me in the hospital for a week at a time) and then got a blood clot in my lung too, THEN they decided to take my spleen out because the steroids weren't fixing the problem - and because of the blood clot said that it might be Lupus as well.
We then moved to North Carolina like we had been wanting, and found a Lupus specialist here. She said after many tests and visits that she did not think it was Lupus. So we continued on to take care of my depression and thyroid issues( those had been around for a while) the hemolitic anemia has apparently gone away.
NOW HERE'S THE NEED FOR PRAYER
I talked to my doctor again today to get an appointment and told him about some rashes he had his nursing assistant look at last time ( she said it might be a kind of soriasis) and He said "thats an unusual place for soriasis to show up- it sounds like a lupus rash!" NOT WHAT I WANTED TO HEAR! SOOOOOOO...... Here we go again, please pray that he is wrong and that this is something that can be handled easily, and that I don't have to go back on oral steroids! They are AWFUL!
Also pray that my depression wil be able to be gotten under control, it seems to affect my temper fiercely, again not good with two little kids ( now 4 and 5)
Thanks for the prayers! Janice
