I thought this was fascinating. Here in St. Louis, Missouri, we call bicarbonated beverages "soda." I was thrown off-base when I was going to college in Des Moines, Iowa, and had my first waitressing job when a customer asked for "pop." What? - I thought. It makes me laugh, today. And, so, it also makes me appreciate this graph:
