Why X to the zero power = 1
Have you or your student[s] evered wonder why x0=1? I've illustrated that on my HUGE chalkboard (see photo below). Use it if you need it, friends. Need further explanations? I'll be happy to oblige. Just leave me a comment or shoot me an e-mail. BTW... I love, love, LOVE my chalkboard and am VERY grateful to my dear friends, the Gaffneys, for giving it to me. It's a 4ft. by 6ft. bit o' heaven!

Thanks for the Halloween trick! I cannot believe I understand this! Understanding and computing are two very different things though, like reading Spanish and speaking it. I could solve this 20 years ago on my own. Fast forward 3 years and this is what I will be teaching my kids. Scary! Like your "new to you" chalkboard. :) Kind of reminds me of Brett Favre...our family is thrilled over the Viking win in Green Bay today!!!
