As we finish up the first week of our studies, I thought I would share a few pictures of the kids.

These two pictures are of berries that we did find, but couldn't identify.  We used books, but came up empty.  Anyone know what these are?  We were able to identify some other berries as snowberries (not pictured) and found out those were 'fatal'.

Hi,
Thanks for coming to my blog and your comment. I have enjoyed reading your blog. You impress me with your "off the grid" life. I'm in the country - but not off the grid. I did live in Alaska for three months when I was younger - on a fishing island with our own generator. That was interesting. It would have been nicer if I had a husband then and not my brother! LOL

Not sure what those berries are. We have tried to identify a few also - it's been a fun project.

Making your own soap? How fun. There is a gal at church who makes her own soap. I would love to have a day with her to learn how.
