Getting here was something like Planes, Trains, and Automobiles.  The very first leg of our flight was cancelled due to mechanical problems.  This 'small' debacle was the beginning of 28 hours of straight airport and airplane travel.  It was horrendous and we arrived in Virginia a day late.

But we are here now and I am thoroughly enjoying the heat.  Yes, the heat.  For the first time in my life I am loving the humidity that comes with East Coast 80 degree weather.  I have been taking long, wonderful walks, enjoying Trader Joes, and spending quality time with my brother and sister-in-law. 

Tomorrow we are heading into Williamsburg.  Evidently there is a new Amish Store at the Yankee Candle Factory.  Hello...I am so there!

A better part of this week will be spent trying to help my parents prepare for their Paris Anniversary Trip..but I plan on trips to the beach and more days walking the aisles at Trader Joes.

Sorry to hear that your trip was such a fiasco! I hope the rest of the time you're there makes up for it (I'm sure it will). Sorry I missed your call on Friday....we were gone.
