Monthly book club

Welcome!

I thought it would be fun to start an online book club. Not for us mommies but for the kids. Each month a book will be selected. I'll pick the first one but after that we'll vote. Our first month will be January as December is entirely too busy.

During the last week of the month, I hope that everyone will share any projects they they have completed relating to the book. A vote will be taken and the winner will receive the coveted "BOOK CLUB BUTTON OF THE MONTH!" to place on their blog. If your child doesn't blog then the button can go on mom or dads' blog. I think this will be lots of fun. So,, does anyone have any suggestions for the January book? The book announcement will be 10 days before the first of the month. So make sure you make your suggestions before December 20th 2006!

This club is open to homeschoolers of any age. Each month there will be a book chosen for everyone to read. During the last week of the month, everyone should share their project (relating to the book). The student with the best project (voted on by their peers) will win a blinkie to place on their blog!
