I made a soup tonight from this web page http://www.recipeland.com/recipe/5304/
We needed a little bit of meat in a non-filling meal. While we're all hungry, as soon as you put that food to your mouth, the taste buds don't want it on the tongue. But this did the trick

We went to the Dr this morning, and all of us are now on antibiotics. I have to say - one amazing thing. This is Janney' and Asher's first time on antibiotics. what a victory - compared with Myles who was on them perpetually through daycare - and as a result, he's allergic now to Amoxil.
Now we're just waiting for them to work. I took a 4 hour nap after visiting the Dr.s office.
For our Chanukkah "celebration" we lit the candles, said the blessings.. and sat there in the dark, not doing anything.. just watching the candles. We haven't read the story of Maccabees, we haven't done any history or bible study.. lighting the candles seems to be it for us this year. They haven't even played the dreidle game yet.
Praying for you all to start feeling better , I am sending big hugs, all the way across Cananda! Did you get it? I hope the chicken made you all feel better. I have enjoyed reading about your celebrations. All my sister ever tells me is what they got.

I am Sombra, and these are the stories from our house. We're a Messianic family where academics often take a back seat to the work and adventure of life.
