I know, I know, this picture would be perfect if that soother wasn't in his mouth, but, this is the season of his life, the soother is almost constant. He's wearing Janney's new cowboy boots - the ones Trent gave her for her birthday. He loves her boots. Janney is wearing her beautiful princess shoes - otherwise known as her clack clack shoes.
I took this photo last night, aren't her eyes just beautiful! I just can't get over the green. Stuart says they're the same colour as my eyes, but I don't look at my eyes - except in the mirror - but I love to look at Janney's eyes.
Janney and I have started doing "school" together. This is the first page from the Learning Through Sounds from Pathway Readers. I'm going to do Before We Read and Learning Through Sounds concurrently - even though one comes before the other. Janney could easily do the Learning Through Sounds, but she needs to learn to obey instructions. For this page, we identified the first sound of all the pictures, and then decided whether they were the same or different.
Trent is rebuilding the ladder to the tree house. The old ladder is all rotten and dangerous, so he's building a new one for the kids.
The first load of laundry on the line in 2008 - how nice! Only down side is, the boys started a fire to burn off the straw and poop from the barn 3 days ago, it's still smouldering, and the smoke occasionally wafts over towards my laundry! Yuck!
shabbat shalom
wanted to say I love seeing clothes haning up and drying on clothesline. You have such beautfiul children that Yeshua has blessed you with.
many blessings
It's Jo.
Trent is so BIG!
Asher & Janney are so BIG!
I love the pic in the red boots. We had little red rubber boots that went through 3 kids and I had to chuck 'em last year because they really smelt gross. I almost cried, and our neighbor was kind of sad too (because she had seen the boots so often).
Did you knit Asher's sweater?

I am Sombra, and these are the stories from our house. We're a Messianic family where academics often take a back seat to the work and adventure of life.
