NEW FRIENDS

After a LONG search  - internet searching for the different types and makes and features and pricing - and then the legwork to find the best price in the city, I have come home with two new friends.

May I introduce you to my new Maytag Epic Washer and Dryer.

This is the next step in getting back on track with all the other things that are on my list of duties for today, tomorrow and all this week.  Now that I've got these new friends, laundry should be an easier and more efficient job. Less water (haven't I been complaining about the water shortage around here for long enough!), less energy, less time, and MUCH MORE VOLUME. The washer is a 4.0Cu.Ft. capacity -compared to my old top loader machine, which had about 1.8 Cu.Ft. capacity.  I didn't really need a dryer, but, these two are stackable, and with the renovations that will be taking place, stacking these two will make more efficient space of my soon to be smaller laundry room.  AND, not only did I find them at a scratch and dent price, but I found the same model on sale elsewhere, got a written quote from them, and was able to get my scratch and dent babies at the lower "price comparison" price.  - WOO HOO. Thank you God for all you do for me!

This washer can EASILY wash a king sized douvet - last time I washed my douvet, I hung it on the clothes line, and hosed it down with water, threw some soap on it, and then hosed it down some more.. took a couple of days to dry on the clothes line. Now I can do all my bedding in one day!

I love my front loading washer. Thanks to my handy husband, my 20+ year-old dryer is still working ~ so my set isn't matched.

Congrats on the new machines! They DO make a huge difference. I got a new set about a year and 4 months ago and I LOVE them. Even line drying takes so much less time because the clothes are so well wrung out in the washer! Enjoy!!
