We lost another chick, that's a total of 4 lost now, but the rest look good.
See how some of them are under the heat, but some of them are venturing out to get food and water, this is good. It means they're comfortable when they're well spaced like this. It's when they're all huddled under the lamp that you have to make adjustments to their situation, or they'll climb on top of each other to get to the heat and the ones underneath get trampled to death.
Marissa thinks your chicks are cute. She wants some of her own, but I don't think we can have them in our neighborhood. We really need to move a little more "out."
