Yesterday I was in the grocery store and two funny things happened.
First, I was walking down the condiment aisle, Stuart and the cart are halfway down the aisle, and I call out to him "Honey, which pickles was it that I wanted last night?" A lady in the same aisle looks up at me, sees the belly and just about fell over laughing. What a stereo type I was! She and I had a good chuckle over it, then when she passed Stuart I whined "That lady laughed at me" to which the three of us had another good little laugh.
Second, I met a woman I know vaguely, and our two families stopped to chat. She was commenting on how good I looked..though tired. I lamented how I had had to take off my wedding rings because my hands hurt. She told me this funny story about her BIL. When she was in the hospital having her 3rd child, her BIL came to visit her in the maternity ward. BIL is a single, a real ladies man, and as he walked through the ward, something strange struck him. He asked my acquaintance "WOW, So many single women here having babies, that's so strange." She asked him, what made him think they were all single women? "Well none of them is wearing a wedding band." LOL, We all had a chuckle, she said he has much to learn about pregnant women... Stuart was still chuckling over it this morning.
I don't know how good laughter is for a big pregnant woman.. it sure makes the belly dance around!
Thanks for the laugh! Whenever my husband comes to the store with me we always have people laughing at us - he goes around and acts like the kids throwing things into the cart and whining! Okay, well it sounds stupid, but it is funny! :)
It relaxes you and releases endorphins and surely that will help to lower the blood pressure. I hope you are still doing well and I am thinking of you a lot.

I am Sombra, and these are the stories from our house. We're a Messianic family where academics often take a back seat to the work and adventure of life.
