The other day, when I was in the grocery store, I needed a bag of flour. I pointed to the one I wanted and Rourke picked up the bag and put it in the bottom of the cart for me.
Asher - not wanting to be left out, pulled a bag off the shelf too and it landed on his lap when his bum hit the floor. He picked himself up and picked up that huge bag of flour and brought it the 3-4 steps over to the cart and tried to put it next to Rourke's bag.
Daddy decided, after so much effort, that Rourke should take his bag off, and that we'd take Asher's bag. Asher needed a little help getting the bag onto the shelf at the bottom of the cart, which Rourke provided.. and in the process, the poor guy smacked his face against the frame of the cart. But he was so cute, all full of white flour.. and he deserved such a big hug for his big efforts.

I am Sombra, and these are the stories from our house. We're a Messianic family where academics often take a back seat to the work and adventure of life.
