Trent saddled up Rimmon today and got Janney all geared up for a lesson, he even tied her hair in a pony tail to keep it out of her face. I went to get the camera, but then I ended up being the one to lead Rimmon around. We tried to get Janney to let go of the reins and hold her hands out to learn to balance, and look through Rimmon's ears - but it took both Trent and I to do that, so there's no photos of that part.
Yes, that's Elias in the sling on my back, he's asleep.
After Janney's little ride, Trent actually did some training with Rimmon. He tied her reign slightly tight on one side to train her to turn around to the left, then to the right. See how she can't straighten her neck in this next photo.. this makes her walk in a circle.
Later Trent got on her back and I lead her along and he taught her foot and voice commands - to walk and to stop. She's a pretty smart little filly, very willing.
