Kitchen Renovations Episode 2
It's a slow process, but it's coming along. We faced a challenge today. Stuart really didn't want to pull down the ceiling, but we have one spot in the kitchen, where the new oven will go, but the measurement between floor and ceiling in this spot was to short. We need 94 inches for the cabinets, and this spot was exactly 94 inches - and we still need to put in the ceiling. So, we pulled down the existing ceiling and will put up a new one. We were going to just add a new layer.
So you may be wondering what we're going to be replacing the kitchen with.. so here are some "sample swatches" to give you a feel for the new kitchen. |
