For a few short weeks every year, we have our own "beach" in the pasture. Actually, it's a big puddle, but it's good for a little dip for little kids. The boys used to ride their bikes through the puddles when there was still ice in them when they were little, now Janney and Asher are getting into the game.
THAT looks like fun! I love Myles method of getting wet. Emmeline wants to come and play at your house more than ever now: "Mom they have horses AND a pond to play in." Are there cool things to look at in your vernal pool, like tadpoles and such? How long does it last before it dries up?
