Progress on the Kitchen Renovations

When a renovation has taken as long as this one, with each step finding we need to dig deeper and deeper into the "gutted" room, it has taken it's psychological toll.   We've been growing tired of the project and the inconveniences of having no kitchen.

Now we're starting to feel like there's some progress, a layer of gyproc walls does wonders for the psychy.

Things are looking good! I wish my husband had rented a lifter when he did the basement. He just built big T's made of 2x4 to raise the ceiling. Scary! He came by that honestly though. Last year his 71-year-old father sided his barn and to get to the high parts he just stacked a bunch of bales of hay.
