Make Way For Ducklings
We went for another Regina Babywearing and Attachment Parenting group walk in the Wascana park today, there was 5 moms and 9 kids. We had the blessing of seeing some sweet new life along the way.
It seems these goslings were from a mixed brood, as there were about 5-6 mother geese, and three of these piles of goslings, and across the pathway, at the edge of the lake was the group of father geese.

A little further on, there was a female teal duck with her little hatchlings

These ducks were so used to people that the kids were able to get nice and close for a good look.

Here's some of the mamas from our group.
Erin carrying Amora, and Sara carrying Griffin

Kim has Kaamil and Makai' in her stroller & Chloe beside, and Tanya has Neveah in her sling, and Janney is pushing Chloe's stroller.

And of course, as usual, I'm behind the camera, so you can't see me with Elias on my back.
We ran errands and went to the dentist and the library today. We got the book Make Way For Ducklings, which daddy read tonight. It's one of the books from FIAR so tomorrow I'll read it again and do a lesson - I think I'll do the lesson about how to be careful about where we choose to make our homes because in the outline, it mentions cats/kittens.. and we have a set of those in the barn. Then maybe I'll teach Janney about speed lines in the illustrations and see if I can get her to draw something and put speed lines behind it.
Maybe we could draw Asher with speed lines behind him!
