Thank you so much for your sweet, precious comments and all your prayers over this past week for my hubby, David. It's been a rough week and it's still not over. Hubby is still in pain and I just don't know what to do about it any more.
We took him to an Osteopath yesterday at the recommendation of the doctor at the hospital. He was a very nice man and feels confident that he can help my hubby, but he also said it could get worse before it gets better. Not exactly the words my hubby wanted to hear. In fact, he must have blocked that out because when I mentioned it today, he didn't remember the doctor saying that at all. *sigh* The doctor gave him a prescription for Tylenol 3 and that didn't touch the pain at all. My hubby was up all night with pain again and finally fell asleep at about 4 this morning but only slept about 3 hours. I tried heat, cold, Ben Gay, Aleeve, you name it, but nothing has helped. In fact, the heat made it worse. We are praying for God's wisdom on this and I am again asking you for prayers regarding this. It's so hard to be in pain and it's hard because I don't know what to do for him anymore! Oh, that the Lord would just touch my hubby with His healing touch!!
It's almost like a hospital here. My oldest son has come down with what I think is that horrid flu again. My youngest had some symptoms yesterday, but seems to be fine today. It's making me a little crazy to think we could all get that again! You know, when hubby was in the hospital, two doors down they had someone that had a HUGE sign posted on the doorway that said it was a high contagious room and you had to talk to the nurse before entering the room. The picture showed that a person had to have gloves, mask and gown before entering. Okay, fine. But tell me, why was the door of this room WIDE OPEN?!! Now I'm wondering what this person had and if we were exposed to anything. Geesh!!
I'm just ranting now, so will sign off. Lack of sleep and foggy brain does that. I hope you all have a wonderful Sunday and I thank you again all so much for your prayers!! I really, really will be around to visit all of you as soon as I can!!
