More of Him - Less of Me

Am I going crazy or do I just act that way?
It's been totally insane here for the past few days. I'm helping with our "Women's Ministry Spring Fellowship" that will happen tomorrow from 9:00 - 4:00. I made the programs, made inserts for the programs, folded the programs and now have them neatly bundled in a box ready to go. I also redid my table at church that I run that has everything our little church does in the course of a week. It looks much nicer, but I have to tell ya, doing all this in 2 days was just crazy. Not my choice - just the way it happened. Tonight, I'm making new inserts for the Sunday bulletin for a members Bridal Shower. Oh, my.
My beautiful earrings arrived from Marsha's sisters today and they are gorgeous. For those of you who don't know what I'm talking about, go to Marsha's blog and see about her Birthday Bash she had last week. Then go here to Lele + Coco and see their beautiful creations! Really, you must have something for yourself - these earrings are just gorgeous!! Thank you again, Marsha, Lele and Coco!! I will treasure these earrings always!!!
I am SO ready for a vacation. I'm telling you - I'm just ready to chill somewhere for about 2 weeks or maybe 2 months. I can't remember the last time our family took a trip of any kind - even a camping trip. We are talking about it now and I'm thinking it may actually happen! Stay tuned. . . .
I'm actually going to share some homeschooling news. I know - when does that ever happen?! My son and I are doing
"Drive Thru History - America" right now and it's excellent!! If you've ever watched "Drive thru History" on TBN or one of the other Christian TV stations, you know how completely entertaining this show is, while still teaching us so much. We got a DVD with PDF files on it with the student book and teachers book, plus an actual book you can hold in your hands. The show is very good and makes history so compelling and fun. I highly recommend it!
Hubby is doing better. He has been having physical therapy and that's been helping him, plus the new pills for his digestion. I'm seeing some light at the end of this long, dark tunnel we've been in and I'm so glad he's in less pain. Thank you for asking about him and for all your prayers! They mean so much to us.
I need to get going and prepare for tomorrow. I am going to get there early, along with my sons who are doing the child care tomorrow.
God bless you ~ Julie

Good to hear that your husband is doing well. Katia told me that he had been down again. I wish I would have known so I could pray for you all. I am going to get back into this blogging thing, one way or another. I hope that you get to take that vacation that you're talking about.
Love & prayers,
Lori
