I'm just thrilled! Yes, my beloved Arizona Cardinals won the NFC Championship! It was a nail biter game for this gal - but they won - as I knew they would! Everyone really did discount the Cardinals and that fact that they are a good team ready for the Super Bowl. I've been a big fan of the Cardinals for quite a few years now and it's so nice to see my team go to the Super Bowl!
I think the thing that impresses me so much is the faith of the quarterback, Kurt Warner. In everything, he always gives thanks and praise to our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ. He doesn't care how much he says this or what others think, he gives the praise where it belongs. My children and I met him when he was here with the Cardinals for Spring training. He was so kind, polite and nice and stopped to have his picture taken with my oldest son. Here is that picture.
This is definitely a picture that our family treasures. I'm so glad we got to meet Kurt Warner and I am so glad that such a godly man represents our Arizona Cardinal team!
I do have a lot more to share with you, but I'm tired and will update what's been happening with me in another post. I just really wanted to share my excitement about our NFC Champions - The Arizona Cardinals!! GO CARDINALS!!!!
