The DVD, You CAN Do It! - Spell to Write and Read, features Endorsed SWR Trainer, Britta McColl, teaching her own children in her home with SWR. This is a fast-paced, intimate look at SWR, giving you the confidence and ability to get started teaching SWR to your children.
Chapter markers make it easy to review the activities over and over again, and the up-close filming enables you to see what the children and the teacher are writing.

It focuses on:
- How to teach SWR with multiple ages,
- Beginning handwriting skills,
- Games to teach the phonograms,
- How to do a phonogram quiz,
- The dictation process for both single syllable words, and multi syllable words using “fingergrams or finger spelling”.

Notes from Britta about You CAN Do It-Spell to Write and Read DVD
We began filming for this production two years ago and the little boy who was five-years-old and just learning cursive with large motor writing in the DVD is now seven years old! (And of course all my other children are two years older than when they were first filmed!)

I would like to thank Wanda Sanseri first for her great work Spell to Write and Read and second for all her help with this DVD production. For the last two years she has been faithfully reviewing drafts of this DVD and giving me feedback on my teaching. I have grown as a mother and teacher through Wanda Sanseri’s gentle and humble suggestions.
I would also like to thank my husband extraordinaire, Robert McColl, for his encouragement and tireless work on filming, editing, and producing this DVD.
