Abusive Teachers

Many local teachers have been arrested or fired for hitting/abusing students in the past year.  There have been nine in our community.  I'm mostly upset  at the parents.  They get on TV and complain that this teacher hurt their child...blah, blah, blah. 

Who gave that teacher complete authority over the child, without supervision, without knowledge of that teacher's past or spiritual/psychological issues?  The parents have.  They've been brainwashed to believe that they have no other choice than to hand their little five year olds over to the lions.  So, don't get all mad when the stranger (even though they are licensed by the state) that you allowed to be the boss of your kid does something to hurt them! 

Okay, that's over.

I truly hope that you never are in a circumstance where you have to send your children to public school. For being a Christian, you sure do bring such negativity and judgement upon others - maybe you should blog about that, or better yet read the bible and see what it says about it.

I would just like to applaud whoever posted that uplifting and encouraging comment to MJ's blog. What a way to show your own Christian beliefs in not judging others...maybe you should take at long look at the plank in your own eye, before pointing out the speck. She's not judging...she's stating an opinion. Funny, how opinions suddenly turn into judgments when they're not shared by the majority. At least MJ has the guts to state what she believes. Oh...and she didn't do it annonymously! Why don't you (Annonymous) stop being a coward, get over it, and move on. Apparently YOU feel judged - That sounds like it's YOUR problem, not MJ's.
