Jewelry QuestionsI thought I'd answer some of the questions about jewelry making. First, it is not hard. The hardest part is choosing beads that look nice together. I have a difficult time making decisions, so I spent more than an hour picking the beads. At our local shop, you can string the beads yourself, and pay them to attach the clasps. I decided to do it myself to save money. I looked online for directions, used my hubby's needlenose pliers, and practiced a few times.
As for expense, it varies depending on the beads. For each necklace and earring set, I spent around $25. I have enough beads left over to make another necklace, a bracelet, and a few pairs of earrings. I could have spent less on the beads by going to Hobby Lobby or Michaels, but I was really happy with the choices that I made.
So, try it. It will be fun and you'll end up with some cute jewelry.
