Thoughtful Motherhood

Angela Hunt

The Canopy by Angela Hunt changed the way I looked at Christian fiction, because it actually had a message. It wasn't about a girl meeting a boy on a wide open plain in the days of covered wagons. I was tired of that kind of Christian fiction, the kind that made love the main plot and threw some God in for good measure.

Tonight there was an autograph party, and I brought a few books from home to be signed by the famous. But I forgot to bring any by Angela Hunt (my favorite Christian writer) Luckily the conference had a store set up with books by all the authors present. As I got closer to the "H" section, I saw that it was remarkably empty, except for one green book

THE CANOPY!

How GOD is that? I was able to get it signed by Angela Hunt, and to take a picture with her. Here's the picture to prove it. I know you are totally impressed.
