CPS and Parental Rights

Please pray for the 400+ children in Texas who were stolen from their mothers by the out of control, government agency, CPS. It sickens me that CPS has so much power and can do anything as long as they wave the banner of child abuse while they do it. Pray for the spiritual and physical protection of these children while they are in the custody of the state.

Things aren't always as cut and dried as they seem. CPS is out of control at times, I have no doubt. I've seen it myself with a little girl we fostered a few weeks back--I posted about her on my blog. But what about kids like my little Oliver, who wasn't taken into custody until he was 7 months old and weighed less than 10 pounds ... because the rules in place didn't apply in a clear cut way to his circumstances? There's more than meets the eye to many of these situations, unfortunately, and it's difficult to armchair quarterback them.
