Sarah Palin Carries Baby in a Sling to Work

Great pics. I'm beginning to like what I see of Sarah Palin. Obviously, she can't sling the baby forever, and the idea of a two year old in the white house is laughable. In the end, her working is between her and her husband. Plus there are greater moral issues at play here.

I guess we're stuck, and I agree with the "moral issues at play here comment," however in light of of choices (which seem slim to none) I'd rather have her as a possible VP than anyone else. Please come Lord Jesus before Obama ever becomes Pres! I'll deal with Mcain through prayer for 4 years if I have to, just not Obama.

I always enjoy your blog :o)

Sarah Palin

Hi, I just want to say that I too am a mom of a Down Syndrome infant born just two months before Trig Palin. There is a wide scale of the needs a "special needs" child might have. My daughter, for instance, didn't need surgery of any kind and so far has stayed up with the development scale of a typical child. She has been in physical and speech therapy for initial feeding challenges, but overall is doing wonderful. I so far have not heard of any real problems that Trig has had either. Therefore, so far, having a DS baby has not been that different from my other two. I praise Sarah because she could easily leave the baby with a nanny, but here she is carrying him in a sling. Also on the campaign trail, I've seen him in the background in a sister's arms, not a babysitter. Piper has been with her in several pictures and they seem like pretty well behaved kids. She seems like a mom that has her kids on the scene much more than I would expect and this could be just a wonderful, happy adventure for all of them right now. I'm a stay at home, homeschool mom too and we're criticized all the time about the "job" we do as a teacher and trying to be a mom as well. Really we are working moms just like so many others. All of us are called to function in a special way. I praise God there is another choice besides Barak and Biden. No, I don't think that Sarah Palin can do it all, but she can do all that God has called her to and I'm praying for strength for her.
