Thoughtful Motherhood

Master ToDo List

Organization is not my strong-suit. I have several things that I need to get done, so I though I'd share them for some virtual accountability.

1. Do 4 loads of laundry (including folding & putting away) - TODAY

2. Pack bags for hospital

3. Pack boys' bags for grandparents

4. Hang up stars in the schoolroom

5. Hang up solar system in the schoolroom

 6. Hang up white board in the schoolroom (we'll add a 'frame' at some point)

7. Paint molding for schoolroom maps

8. Take picture of carseat for friend who made it - TODAY

9. Blog about great handmade gifts from shower (with pictures)

10. Organize schoolroom file cabinet

11. Hang up schoolroom curtains (pick them up from mom)

12. Put sheets on baby girl's crib

13. Hang up baby girl's name over her crib

14. Pick up childbirth books from friend.

15. Call doc about 10yo's meds

That's all for now, I may add more as I think of them. It will so good to be done with all these 'little' projects.

Okay, I read your To DO list, and I don't want you doing half of those things, at least not by yourself. I think you should delegate all of that hanging stuff to dear ole hubby. Make it easy and do all of the important stuff first, then do the easy to accomplish. If you get around to the hanging stuff, and you still have the energy to do it?!?!... still pass it off to Hubby.

I think she's got an etsy shop, but I'm not sure. I'll post more later, when I featue all the cool handmade gifts that I was blessed with.

to do list

I agree with Adrian. Pack your bag.... and then delegate everything else. Let us help prepare for the baby's birth.

Even God let His Angel's help prepare the way for the birth of Jesus. Let us be your angels.

Want Help?

Hey Beth, let me know if I can come over some morning and I would be more than happy to help you do some things and get your list all crossed off! :) Seriously, I wouldn't offer if I didn't mean it - I'm only like a mile away! ~Heather

I love your blog - I just found it by browsing random blogs. I've enjoyed your thoughts on voting and Sarah Palin and am wrestling with some of these same thoughts.

Just wanted to say Hi and I will be following your blog! Congratulations on the new baby coming!

WOW

Wow, I LOVE those stars in your schoolroom, AND the solar system. I have been looking for a 3 dimensional one for our room. That one is great.
If you have a chance let me know where you found it.
I KNOW you are busy and if you can't... no big deal! :D
Thanks,
Chas
