One of the blogs that I read has been discussing the possibility that we could be in the seven year tribulation. This is based on a seven year peace treaty signed by Israel in January 2007. Read the following articles to get more of a foundation. Here and here and here. WIthin those articles, there are lots of links. Check them out for a full understanding.
WIth the economic crisis, the world seems set for the production of a one-world currency. Check out this document by the European Union on its plan to go cashless by 2010 (SEPA) - They refer to the currency as the "MARK", I am not kidding. Read the document. If you want more information on SEPA, read this and this. The 2010 goal would fall into the timeline set forth in Revelation about the mark coming into play around 3 1/2 years after the signing of the treaty.
Now, do I believe we are in the tribulation? I don't know. But, I am not so foolish as to take these things lightly just because I believe in a pre-tribulation rapture. Anyone who doesn't look into this themselves simply because they have always been taught pre-trib or their denomination believes in pre-trib, etc is foolish. At least look into and keep your eyes open.

hi
I would say that we are no way in the seven year tribulation. If you understand the Jewish customs, the Jewish wedding and such then that would be one arguement. If you understand that all the Jewish festivals have been fulfilled except the feast of the Trumpets (the trumpet that calls for the Feast of Trumpets in the natural and the trumpet that calls for the rapture in the heavens) then that is a second argument. If you look at all the different things that will happen with the actual happenings of the tribulation (asteroid, nuclear explosion....long list) then that is a third argument. If you look at the fact that the peace treaty must be signed with the antichrist, which hasn't happened, then that is another argument. Check out more information from Walid Shoebat, www.voe.org, www.khouse.org If you want to get even deeper then check out the UFO stuff that ties in with the days before Noah (as Jesus said it would be) because the UFOs is like in those days with the demons ......(let you see it for yourself). No, we aren't there, yet. But, we are very close. Get ready for the trumpet call and be the church of Philidelphia which is kept "from the hour of trial (refering to tribulation) to test those who live on the earth", in Revelations. This might be more information than you want (?). It is interesting.

More info.
Hi, I can give you a lot of information. Of course, we follow no man first but we weigh what is said with the bible, the conviction of the Holy Spirit (get that deep down peace), and the fruits. Of course, you probably already know that. But, with that said, you are about to embark on an interesting study that scares most Christians that are not ready for the return of Christ. But, for those who are ready and awaiting as the bride awaiting the bridegroom, they are excited with their eyes focused upward. With all that said, I will email some links. Let me know that you get the email.

forget the blogs and dig into God's Word.....
There are well over a score of biblical passages that indicate that the return of Jesus for the Church is imminent. An imminent return is quite impossible if the tribulation has to happen first. Why would Jesus direct his people to be always ready and watching for His coming if they were meant to go through the tribulation and thus would be aware of His coming as much as seven years before He actually came?
The book of Revelation is not the easiest book to study....here's a link of a favorite Bible teacher of mine that I use when studying...He teaches through the Bible verse by verse and is truly gifted in expounding on the Scriptures. You can click on verse by verse teaching and then click on Revelation....it might take some time to study through, but we're supposed to be like the Berean's, right? =)

The Tribulation
Huh. I haven't even looked at your links yet. I don't want to stress myself out! I have been so anxious with the election lately.
I mean regardless of whether this is THE tribulation - this is definitely a challenging time where our values are just losing their meaning altogether as a society. I've always been a PRE-TRIB person in the past, but it's all hard to understand. HE knows and HE holds us in HIS hands.
