Snowman Cake

Today is my fourth son's birthday. I officially have two 2-year-olds for 6 weeks. My third son will turn 3 in the end of January. Boy, I love my Irish twins. For his birthday we had a small family dinner with a 'snowman' theme. We put cottonballs on the table for snow and  cut out snowflakes to hang on the windows. Its a fun and cheap theme for a winter birthday.

Here's the cake. It was fun. Its all buttercream. I really needed to work on my buttercream skills, as most of the cakes I've made in the last year were fondant. I LOVE the tiny snowflakes, though they could be much neater.

Birthday hugs from Aunt Barb & Uncle Mark. Wish we were there to eat that beautiful cake. Give all the boys a hug from us.

Logan celebrated his 6th birthday on Friday. He was born in a blizzard and we always have snow around his birthday. Sure enough yesturday we woke up to a beautiful little snow. Your boys would love to play in snow.

If you lived close enough, I would buy the cake (looks prettier than the bakeries in our grocery stores). You sure do a beautiful job.

Cake was so moist and yummy! You did a great job! You never cease to amaze me in what you can do with five kids. I coldn't bake like that and I only had two. Oh!! well..You didn't take that after your me.
