Keep It Real

I am a fake.

This wife/ mother/ godly woman thing is hard.

I'm always messing up.

Yet,  I talk and blog sometimes like I've got it all together.

I have good intentions.

I get angry too quickly.

I yell too much.

I don't pray enough.

If I know you, I want to pray for you.

But I usually forget.

I get caught up in silly issues

when I ignore the BIG one.

I don't want to be divisive,

yet I always want to be right.

I spend a hundred times more time on the internet

than I do with my Bible.

You aren't fake.
You are human.
You aren''t perfect.
You are forgiven.
You are tired and sleep deprived.
You think you can do it all and shouldn't ask for help.
O.K. so you are lacking in some areas.
Tell God he knows it and loves you anyway.
He will help you.
He will give you the strength you need
to raise those five children He gave you.

Humility.....you have it and it's beautiful...the Lord has you right where He wants you....recognizing that apart from His grace, mercy, and strength, you can do nothing. Thanks for being real my cousin...keep on keeping on!

It sounds so like my guilt.

I know what I who to be...

...I just can't seem to get there.

I know guilt is a favorite tactic of satin.
