Mama's Prayers to Fend Off Insanity

I had many opportunities to pray today. I'm sure you will too as you love and serve your family. Here are the prayers that I lifted up to Jesus as I went through my day.

When met at the front door with a pile of muddy shoes...

"Lord, thank you for providing these shoes for our boys, your provision is always sufficient. Thank you for the memories that they made while playing with their brothers and mucking around in the beautiful yard that You have given us. Yes, thank you for these precious boys, even if they are complete slobs who track mud all over my kitchen floor."

When facing a pile of clean laundry that needs to be folded...

"Lord, please be with the wearer of these clothes. I ask that your supernatural annointing would be upon this silver guitar t-shirt, so that when he wears this, he is guarded, protected, and lead by the Spirit. And Father, when he takes it off, I pray that your annointing would land IN the hamper, not beside it."

Atttitude and perspective are so important thing in life. As you are praying for your little ones, Dad and I are praying for you and for them. Be faithful to pray, even when it is hard and seems hopeless. God is faithful to give us what we need and He never fails us. Today He helped you to look at the situation through humor. That's important!
