Dash to the Potty, part 3 (I think)...

Posted in Dash's Adventures • Jul. 28, 2006

I have waited to make the public announcement until now lest I undo progress... but...

Dash is potty trained!

He did it right after the last Dash to the Potty post where I nearly lost my mind over his lack of potty training.  He has been dry during the day and most nights for almost three weeks now!

Which just goes to prove The Second Law of JenDynamics:  That which drives you crazy will only change once it has driven you so crazy you finally decide to give in to it because you firmly believe it will never change.

I have to work on the wording for that Law, because the First Law is, dare I say it myself, eloquent.  The First Law of JenDynamics, "No one cares as much about what you do as you do" was discovered in public high school when I was "sweet" 16.  I could write an essay on why it is an immutable law that works on so many levels, but I will spare you that dissertation for another day.

Oh, and did I mention this?  DASH IS POTTY TRAINED!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

(insert Hallelujah Chorus here) ;)

I am so happy for you. Isn't it nice to not have to change his diapers or clean up frequent meses!!? I am getting ready to start potty training my little boy. I don't have a clue what to do with him since my oldest is a girl!!
Thanks for visiting me at my blog. Have a good day.

I hereby decree Mrs. Incredible to be a super mom! Achieving potty trainer status (again) through much patience and handwork.
Congratulations.

I forgot to mention that all mothers deserve a cerificate for potty training their children!! Diplomas and certificates are given out after a course of study has been completed - I think this is just as deserving!

Yeah! Congrats! That must be such a relief! I learned with my son that he just had to decide he was ready. I taught him the basics and then patiently waited. He decided right after his 3rd birthday that he was ready and we only had a very rare nighttime accident after that. I remember it being such a relief! :0) Brandi
