I think you are incredibly creative and Mrs. Incredible for sure. How do you possibly maintain 2 blogs with such delicious designs? I have one other blog---a writing blog to teach writing to kids, but it is a "Keep It Simple Sister" (the KISS formula) blog and so it is a bit sparse.
So....you confessed. You want to be a writer. Wonderful. I am, (confession time), an "accidental author." I wrote stories all my life (if you want to see the subject matter, go here:

But I only wrote them for myself. Seriously. I never thought about getting anything published. Uh-uh. Too shy. So an author-friend had to give me a "kick in the pants" and nag me to submit my historical adventure books. I gave in, and now....well...here I am. And where is that? Well, basically, I've discovered that all those big-name Christian authors are really just nice "little people" like me. When you go to a few writing conferences you learn that really quick. Just a big family, like homeschoolers. I would encourage you to write, write, write! You have time to get publisher, even! I didn't get published until I was almost 50. AUGH! That sounds so old (but I'm 12 on the inside, so it's OK).
I enjoyed catching up on your blog.
We are doing My Father's World(Explorers to 1850) too. You made me giggle with your entry about piecing all of the history together. I thought I was the only one that had that light bulb moment.
Meet Our Incredible Family
My mostly random blog about my homeschooling and life adventures with Mr. Incredible and our 3 little Incredibles: 8 year old "Violet", 4 year old "Dash", and 20 month old "Jack Jack".
