First Ever Saturday Scrap 'n Share!

Posted in Scrapbooking Adventures • Nov. 10, 2007

I am so excited about this Saturday Scrap 'n Share, because I can actually share my pages now!  I have been a Creative Memories consultant for 11+ years, and we just recently came out with the most awesome digital storybook creator software... I thought I loved scrapbooking before, but this is incredible!  I can sit and work on my album on the couch, with my husband next to me watching a movie... and no mess!  When I am tired, I just turn it off!  No clean up!  And, my pages are easy to share on my blog and over email!  How cool is that?

This page was made by Violet.  She created the background paper herself using the colors in the dance costumes.  The page shows her buddies from a homeschool dance class we did last year.  The girls became close friends.  I think she did a great job on the page!  Here it is:

What do you think?  I love it!

Nov. 10, 2007 - That does sound fun!

You know, not only do I have shoe boxes of regular photos to scrapbook, I now have oodles of digital photos that I can scrapbook too. The "no mess" part sounds very appealing!!

...and creative. Your DD did a super job with the scrapbooking page!
In regards to the noodle maker...Clean? What is that? LOL
Seriously. Once I've finished making the noodles, I turn it upside down over the sink and shake it a bit. The dried pieces fall out. Then I look on the underside, take a dry cloth, and scrape any remaining dough that might be clinging to the rollers. Uh...maybe 1 minute in all. What I happen to miss dries and then shakes out the next time I use it. NEVER have a put it near anything wet!
Hope this helps.

Beautiful layout! That color of the dance outfit really made a nice background.

Happy Saturday!

I'm literally drowning in paper pictures. I have scrapped my whole life up to just after marriage (missing a few events still, like the honeymoon and wedding...), and our kids have the beginnings of their baby books (they are 1 and 3). I don't even like taking pictures anymore, and I calculate always, whether the photo is worth the stress of scrapping it. Now, I LOVE scrapbooking--but the problem is with actually getting to it. This summer we went on vacation for almost a month, and I caught up a lot, but it's too stressed and not enough time.

Anyway, do you think the software would get boring? I mean, with paper, you can do anything you want!

Also, do the albums come in the blue and green of the sample, or can you get various colors and textures?

I'm thinking of going digital....

May I please add you as a friend, or I will not find your blog again... (:
Thanks,
Lori

So your girls dance. No way, so do mine. I have been so blessed to have a Christian Dance company called "Good News Dance Co." for my girls to go to. Their recitals are outreaches, I love it! So how much more do we have in common?
