Friday Show and Tell... Leap Year and my new nephew!

Posted in Family Adventures • Feb. 29, 2008

We had an impromptu Leap Year party today!  My friend Amy went along with my zany idea, and let us come over there to play.  The kids decided to play games like pillowcase sack races, hide and seek, and freeze tag... and all in the living room!  Amy and I made homemade pizza for lunch, and we all really had fun hanging out!  It is hard to believe that when we have Leap Year again, Violet will be 13, Dash will be 9 and Jack-Jack will be 6!

And in other show and tell news, I just can't stand not to show and tell about my new little nephew!  Here he is, isn't he CUTE???!!!!  Congratulations to my brother, sister in law and nephew on their new little guy!

Hello friend. That is an awesome idea to celebrate this day that way. We took the day off too. Any excuse works for me!

That New Year's Party looks like lots of fun and congrats on the new nephew. You did a wonderful job making those scrapbook pages too.

I love a new babies birth. I get excited about a new little life coming into the world...especially when they are related to me!

Oh, he's a cutie! We read in the paper this morning of a local father who was born on leap day, and so was his new son! Pretty rare.

If I still had kids at home to celebrate Leap Day with. I'd be all over your idea. And I LOVE your page layout. Very original, and the secret identity stuff is funny, too.
