One of the major reasons I started homeschooling was because I wanted my children to truly experience the joy of learning.  I absolutely love when we come across a resource that teaches a subject in a way that is easy and fun for my children to learn.
Little Man in the Map by Schoolside Press is exactly that kind of resource!  We enjoyed this book so much that my children did not even realize they were “doing school”.  It is a high quality, hardback book with adorable, colorful illustrations that teaches the geography of the United States by using a story.  It is so creative… they start with the “little man in the map”, who is made out of a line of middle states.  Then the rest of the states are added into the story in a way that is memorable and fun for kids.
