My new favorite resources!

Posted in Homeschool Adventures • Jan. 5, 2009

My daughter has had a very difficult time memorizing her multiplication tables.  I don't think this is because she really struggles with memorizing things; rather, I think she just was not interested in memorizing tables of numbers.  Times Tales by Trigger Memory Systems changed all that!  The upper level times tables, including upper 3s and 4s facts,  are put into cute stories with characters to make it interesting and easy to remember.  The first day we used this, Violet knew more multiplication facts than she has previously memorized in the past year!

We also have a struggle with chores, especially cleaning rooms.  I was eager to see what happened when I gave my children the Clean and Flip System that Trigger Memory system sells.  The set has three spiral bound flip charts with easy to read directions and clear illustrations.  One shows a step by step system for room cleaning, one for doing laundry, and one for "zone cleaning" (things like cleaning the living room or the kitchen).  The very first time my daughter used the bedroom Clean & Flip chart, she cleaned her room faster and more successfully than she had ever done before!

f all of the things I have reviewed so far, these two products are my favorites.  They took struggles and made them easy, simple, and doable for my children and me!  Thanks, Trigger Memory Systems, for these great user-friendly, budget-friendly, all around great products!

You can find these great products at http://www.triggermemorysystem.com/.  Times Tales Deluxe sells for $29.95 and Clean & Flip is $29.95 for all 3 flip charts.

I bought the Times Tales a week or so ago. I was delighted at how quickly my girls learned their upper times tables. Wish they had this for add, too.
