Geoboards
Well, the geoboards worked, but I think my dd's thought it was going to be much more fun.  So, the lesson in RS ended up being long and boring yesterday.

Today, I let them play.   They ran around outside with baby blankets wrapped around their shoulders.  They ran barefoot on the wet ground and loved it.  I gave them cookies and water on the front steps and they were so happy.

I skipped doing school today.  My girls are only 4.5 and 2 years old, I am feeling pretty good about what we've done and where we're going.  The ps system here is excellent (jeesh, with such outrageous school taxes I'd expect nothing less!!) and I will plug along "afterschooling" them unless something happens where I find myself hs'ing full time :)

Somehow, I convinced myself I needed to order First Language Lessons for TWTM along with audio CD.  It should be arriving within a week or so :-)

My workout routine is taking off nicely.  I worked out Saturday and Sunday, but tonight I took a break.  I try to start at 8pm while my dear-sweet husband reads stories to the girls.  I could probably workout anytime now since both daughters will stand nearby and copy me the entire time, it's just easier without them until I'm set in a routine.

Jul. 19, 2006 - I think that's great!

The fact that you are teaching your kids, even though they are so young, and know that you're homeschooling is awesome! I believe homeschooling begins at birth (possibly even the womb) so I give you kudos.
