Apr. 2, 2006 - My Abyni Pillow

When the kids stayed in Iowa last summer, Abyni was really not wanting me to go. I took my favorite night shirt (A big Eskimo Joes glow in the dark tie dye shirt) and put it over a pillow, tied the corner, and told her it was her "mommy pillow" so she could pretend I was there with her.

Later that summer I found the EXACT same shirt in HER size at a garage sale! She was SO excited to have her very own mommy shirt!!

Anyway, fast forward to now... she has used the mommy pillow several times, when she wasn't feeling good, or on nights when Paris was having a "Sleepover" with Sprite in her room... and the other night I was having a kinda bad night... Abyni came into my bedroom after I'd went to bed.. and brought me her favorite pillow wrapped with HER "mommy" shirt! Oh my LORD. I about cried... or laughed... or melted. She is just SOOOOOOO flipping SWEET!!! And it DID make me feel better:)
