Aug. 2, 2006 - The Iceberg Hermit

We finished our most recent favorite book.  I'll post the kids book reports later on..

I set up a livejournal for Jaedin to put his Biology notes and gardening notes on.  He does so much with science, I thought it would be nice for him to have a space to keep track of all his experiments and whatnot.

Sprite got through a day of Starting Points with minimal hassle, but Biology is still a pain.  She can't seem to find anyway that helps her remember any of the stuff she reads.  Any ideas???  Anyone??  Note taking isn't helping at this point...

Everyone else did all their scheduled subjects, Abyni is learning cursive, Paris is practicing the cursive she learned last year...  and they are both doing wonderfully, and their handwriting is beautiful!!

That's about all the excitement here.  I must say, watching that documentary last night really peaked the kids' interest.  They've been into all the polar/arctic books I borrowed from the library.  Now that they've seen a bit of the "real" picture, they are finding the books far more stimulating!
