Sep. 16, 2005 - Our Upper Elementary Game Night Was GREAT!!!!!

We had SUCH a GREAT night!!! I don't know about the boys, but I had fun:) It was great...

The boys all arrived in little spurts and immediately started setting up games and playing at the tables. I couldn't believe how well they all just played together. There weren't any kids (that I noticed) that were just playing together and not switching... everyone seemed to play for a while, and then move on to another game with a new set of boys. BTW ~ at one point, I thought for sure that no one had showed up... it was SO quiet, and I went to coutn the boys ~ there were 16-17 Boys! it was really nice that some of the moms stayed too... I got a chance to get to know some of them, and it was just FUN ~ and RELAXED and I just feel so wonderfully excited that I get to do this EVERY MONTH!!!

My Dh is already teasing me that I won't be able to wait that long... okay, maybe he's right:)

The woman who hosted the girls at her house had a blast too.  I am just SO thrilled that everything went sooooo well.  It was so nice having all the friends (both the boys and the moms) over, its been a long time since I was able to have so many people over and it was EXACTLY what I needed!

Anyway ~ thanks to all the moms who brought their boys ~ we were so happy to have you!

Paris and Abyni stayed with a close friend and played with HER dd's that are the same age.  They had a really great time too, playing board games, dress up and tag.  Sprite and Kerra went to their first basketball practice and got worn out:)  But all had a great time.... What an absolute BLESSING all these friends are to me.
