Dec. 24, 2005 - Christmas EVE

We delivered our Angel Tree gift and met the family. They were just so nice! They invited us to dinner, but we had already made plans to go to Shawna's. Unfortunately, that left us in a bit of a rush. We stayed and chatted a bit, but then we really had to go.

We made it to Shawna's at about 7:00 and helped a little prepping dinner. Of course all there was left to do was slice some bread and arrange some things on plates. Shaena has fixed a veritable feaast, with all sorts of breads to try out. I think Dh was in heaven...

She fixed an Italian tortelinni soup that was divine... YUM! Then we pretty much just sat around and chatted. We had a REALLY nice time, a VERY relaxing evening (for us, not so sure about Shawna!) the kids all pretty much disappeared, the girls all playing upstairs, the boys down in Noah's room. Dh and Shawna's DH talked a bit, then he came in and talked with us a bit.

I am so blessed with wonderful friends. This was such an unexpected Christmas evening, but it was just what we needed. I love this place we call home!:)
