Dec. 27, 2005 - Christmas just won't stop!

With the Grandma's coming tomorrow evening, it is STILL Christmas prep time here.  The little girls are almost done with their paintings.  Paris is working on a Monet-style painting for Grandma Sue, and Abyni is working on a Matisse style painting for Grandma Barb.

They also need to make cookie dough for the gifts too.  The grandparents all like their cookies, so they are going to make cooke dough, cube it and freeze it for them to take home.  Mmmmm Fresh baked cookies:)

We started working on Christmas cards and a poem for them yesterday, so we will finish that today.

Hoping to get some Mega Math in... and some exercise ~ the weather outside is absolutely gorgeous already, so it should be a beautiful day!  I sure hope the weather stays with us while the Grandma's visit!

And last night Sprite got a TON of brand new NICE dancewear stuff, leotards, skirts, tights... a LOT of them!  They were from a woman off of freecycle and she was just sooo nice and generous.  I know Sprite was just giddy she was so excited!   I think that made for a great Christmas gift for her:)  Its good to see her blessed, when I know she works so hard to do things for other people.  It was an AWESOME blessing ~ and made it more possible for her to afford the classes!

Anyway ~ Merry Christmas still!

Oh, and on a more "School" note ~ I reeeeally need to decide what our next unit is going to be and I just have no idea what I want to do.  I kind of want to do Obedience/Kings and Queens... but I'm afraid it would drive the kids nuts, since we did just study Kings and Queens type stuff last year.

I like the thought of Inquisitiveness, but it is such a long unit, I know at this point we wouldn't be able to stick with something that loooong.  I guess I'll go look through my books and make a decision.
