Jan. 1, 2006 - Happy New Year

Well, the grandma's left this morning... and although we really enjoyed the visit, we are all just exhausted from the last two weeks of activity! I think it'll take me at least a week of being completely anti-social before I'm ready for people again! Of course, it will also take me that long to get the house back in order so I can comfortably let people see it anyway:)

We've gotten a lot done though, a HUGE life sized tree around the boys' bunks (although it will still need quite a few more layers), their walls are painted with forest/trees and grasses, and the inside painted kind of cave like. Their room is looking AWESOME! (I'm taking photos, but its a disposable camera, so it'll have to wait to be developed!)

Dh, Hopper, the grandma's and I got the huge wall sized mirror upstairs (mostly Dh) and Dh and Hopper hung it on the wall. And Dh is up there now adding a climbing rope from the floor to the ceiling by Abyni's bunk. The girls ought to be getting plenty of exercise!

AND Dh installed the kitchen island in the kitchen... AND I got the girls base color (blue) painted in the bathroom...

And dh and I went for a walk through our neighborhood this afternoon and I noticed that a friend of mine from the old homeschool group lives RIGHT around the corner!  Wow.

I'm going to go laminate the photo albums now... TTFN:)
