Jan. 22, 2006 - Poll... simple pleasures

Name five of life's simple pleasures, try to be original..

1.  Slipping into a cold bed in a reeeally cold bed, and feeling it warm up ~ then moving to MY side of the bed and getting to do it all over again.  (And Dh is eternally grateful that HE doesn't have to climb into a cold bed!)

2.  Curling up on the couch in the "vault"/guest room.  The room is always really cold now, since it was built into part of the garage and isn't insulated at all, so I just LOVE curling up on the couch with a cup of hot tea, a book and a nice warm blanket.

3.   I know its not original, but after living with only showers for a long time, I find a nice HOT bath with bath salts/bubbles/whatever, a book and quiet to just be divine. (although with all the kids, not sure this qualifies as a "simple" pleasure.

4.  Abyni's giggles & My husband's laughter.  Lord, he is just hilarious when he sees something or even just remembers seeing something funny.  The kids and I are always trying to think of things we can remind him of so he'll laugh:)

5.  Gag reels.  See #4.  Any gag reels, but especially love the "FRIENDS" ones since Dh finds them so hilarious.  He can watch them over and over and just lose it every time.
