Jan. 27, 2006 - Paris the baker

Paris made french bread on Monday (yes, from scratch, all by herself:) with garlic to go with our spaghetti and meatballs.  Right after I put it in the oven for her (the one part she can't do), we remembered that she was going to make pizza bread with some of it!  Ack!

So today, being the good sport that she is, she made a new batch of french bread today (this time we'll have some left for french toast tomorrow too!) and is going to make pizza pocket type things with them for dinner.

She's a pretty awesome cook, this girl ~ especially for only being 7!:)  Sprite and the boys enjoy cooking as well, but never have they gone after it with the zeal that Paris does.  She just loves it.  And she'll have no problem with fractions or doubling things in math either!  She's got lots of experience with that already!

When the bread rises through the first stage, we'll spread out smallish circles of it, fill it with cheese, perpperoni, sausage and pizza sauce and seal it up and bake them!  Yummy... too bad I can't have the carbs:(
