Jan. 31, 2006 - Prayer for Purpose

Dear Lord,

I pray that ________ will clearly hear the call You have on his life. Help him to realize who he is in Christ and give him certainty that he was created for a high purpose.

May the eyes of his understanding be open so that he will know Your purpose for his life with now doubt.

Lord, when You call us, You also enable us. Enable ________ to walk worthy of his calling and become a man of God. Don’t let him get side-tracked by other things. Strike down anything that gets him discouraged or depressed.

Lift his eyes to You, Lord, so he can see your purpose for him. Give him patience to wait for the perfect time. I pray the desires of his heart will be the same as yours. May he seek you, and be able to hear Your voice clearly.
