Feb. 2, 2006 - Writing Workshop is ON!!!

Its coming along!!!

We are tentatively planning to get together once a week and watch the video course (it will fit in nicely for us on the day we get together for gymnastics and art anyway) ~~ and getting all the kids to help out with the news paper idea, mainly at home ~ with a get together maybe once a month to work on the layout, editing and whatnot.  I am SO excited that it is just falling together so easily!  I really didn't expect anyone else to be as excited as me!

Anyway, in talking to my kids yesterday, they're looking forward to it too.  Kainan is especially excited about writing about sports, Paris wants to do a recipe and cooking tips article for kids, and Sprite has always thought about doing this, so she has tons of ideas as well.  Jaedin wants to put a joke in (he writes his own jokes all the time) and will probably want to do some sort of science related articles as well. 

I am just so thrilled to be part of such an awesome group of homeschoolers!!!
