Feb. 11, 2006 - Reading Assessment Tests

Some reading assessment tests that I've used ~ to give me an idea of what level my kids are reading at.  These reassured me greatly when I was concerned ~ and the kids find it a great "feat" to beat their score from last year:)

They seem to "chart" well through a jr. high level, but seem to just stagnate after that.  Sprite can pretty much get through the whole tests at this point ~ and just ends up missing 4 words throughout the whole test ~ and all of them usuallya ren't even at the very end. 

It has worked well with the younger kids though ~ we've done it in January for the last two years, and now that I've found it, I'm going to do it with the younger kids again this week.
