• Nov. 13, 2006 - need help finding "turkey-bowl" football game in Denver for hubby to play in
We are going to be in Denver for Thanksgiving. :)
Here in UT, "turkey-bowl" games are popular--people get together at
the park to play football. Usually, this is a church thing. A couple
years ago, we were in CA, and dh was not able to find one, except at
the LDS church. (It's not an LDS thing, here in UT.)
We are going to spend Thanksgiving with my sister, and neither she nor
her dh have heard of any there. Dh will be very disappointed if I
can't find anything. Googling gets thousands of hits, but all seem to
contain either the word "Broncos" or the word "Haggard." (Not sure
what the latter has to do with football. :) )
Does anyone know of such a thing in the Denver area?
